  Timeline of 10/31 and 11/03/2005 events in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. This is what I believe actually happened on Monday, Oct 31, 2005 and also on November 3, 2005. Barb Janda and Steven Avery had discussed placing the maroon van in the Auto Trader magazine in the weeks prior to October 31, 2005. Thanks to the research of AveryWave on Twitter we now know that Barb had also listed the van in the local Manitowoc County newspaper in January of 2005 and as that obviously didn’t result in the van being sold the week prior to Halloween Brendan and Steven got the motor and transmission repaired and the fluid leak stopped.
